Early planning
We are exploring the feasibility of bringing a Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT) facility to the local community.
Our ambition is to seek grant funding to make access affordable, including free sessions for people with a terminal diagnosis where treatment is clinically appropriate.
We have already contacted Healthcare Improvement Scotland and received positive initial feedback and the go-ahead to explore the proposal further. We will continue to seek specialist clinical advice and establish the staffing, safety and regulatory requirements as the project develops.
