Luc Smith
Chairperson
Luc Smith is Chair of Leadhills Village SCIO and has a lifelong connection to Leadhills and the surrounding Lowther Hills. Leadhills remains a place that is very close to Luc’s heart, and he is passionate about helping to preserve what makes the community special while supporting its future development.
With a background in finance, management and community leadership, Luc brings a practical and collaborative approach to his role. As Chair, he works alongside the trustees, volunteers and wider community to support local initiatives, encourage community involvement and help ensure Leadhills continues to be a welcoming, vibrant and sustainable place to live, work and visit.

Rab Campbell
Trustee
Rab has lived in Leadhills for twenty three years and is a well known local businessman.
Carsten Kressel
Trustee
Carsten Kressel is a regeneration and governance professional with over 30 years experience in the fields of economic and social regeneration, skills development as well as primary and secondary education.

Bobbi Campbell
Trustee
Bobbi Campbell lives in Edinburgh and has strong connections to the village. She regularly visits with her family and has always loved the area and its community. Bobbi has over 20 years experience working in grant administration and has experience in delivering community, environmental and heritage projects across Scotland and internationally. She has a particular interest in environmental sustainability and nature conservation and is keen to use her experience and enthusiasm to contribute to the village and support the work of Leadhills SCIO.

Gordon Wishart
Trustee
Gordon Wishart lives in Wanlockhead and runs Blueprint. He brings many years of experience helping businesses and organisations turn ideas into practical results. With strong connections to both villages, Gordon is keen to support projects that improve local services and makes the most of the area’s distinctive character.
Gordon brings resourcefulness, a practical approach to problem-solving and a willingness to get involved. He contributes his communication and digital skills alongside an enthusiasm for making things happen.
